Shipping policy

This shipping policy outlines the production timelines, delivery methods, and transit expectations for your handcrafted Meraki Arts furniture.

Order Processing & Production Lead Times

  • Every piece is meticulously handcrafted to order at our Jodhpur manufacturing facility.

  • Standard production requires 4 to 6 weeks from the date of order confirmation before the item is ready for dispatch.

  • Once your piece passes our final quality inspection, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information and estimated transit window.

Domestic Shipping (India)

  • We partner with specialized freight carriers experienced in handling heavy, solid wood furniture across India.

  • Transit times generally range from 5 to 14 business days after dispatch, depending on your exact location.

  • Standard delivery is a curbside or building ground-level drop-off. Customers are responsible for bringing items inside their homes.

  • White-glove delivery and assembly services may be available in select metro areas for an additional fee.

International Shipping & Export

  • We export our custom furniture globally. International transit times typically range from 3 to 8 weeks based on the destination and shipping method (air vs. sea freight).

  • International buyers are solely responsible for all import duties, local taxes, and customs clearance fees levied by the destination country. Meraki Arts does not collect or prepay these charges.

Delivery Requirements & Inspection

  • Solid wood furniture—particularly monolithic tables, credenzas, and sofas—is exceptionally heavy. Ensure you have adequate assistance on delivery day if standard freight drop-off is used.

  • It is the buyer's responsibility to measure all doorways, staircases, hallways, and elevators prior to purchasing to guarantee the furniture will clear all entryways.

  • Inspect the exterior packaging thoroughly upon arrival. If you notice severe visible damage to the crate or box, you must note this explicitly on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing, and contact our team within 48 hours.
