This Terms of Service agreement governs your use of the Meraki Arts website and the purchase of our handcrafted furniture.

1. Overview and Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Meraki Arts website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. This website is operated by Meraki Arts. The terms "we," "us," and "our" refer to Meraki Arts. We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates to our website.

2. Bespoke Products and Natural Variations

All Meraki Arts furniture is handcrafted and made-to-order. By purchasing from us, you acknowledge the following:

  • Natural Materials: We use premium solid woods (including Teak, Mango, and Oak). Organic variations in wood grain, color, knots, and texture are inherent characteristics of natural timber and do not constitute manufacturing defects.

  • Dimensional Tolerance: Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, slight variations in dimensions may occur.

  • Accuracy of Display: We make every effort to display the colors and textures of our products accurately. However, we cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be perfectly accurate.

3. Order Finality and Cancellations

Because our furniture is custom-made to your exact order, all sales are final once production begins.

  • Orders may only be canceled or modified within 24 hours of placement.

  • After 24 hours, materials are allocated and the order becomes strictly non-refundable. Please refer to our Refund & Return Policy for full details on transit damage resolution.

4. Pricing, Payments, and Billing

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or system malfunction. In such cases, a full refund will be issued immediately.

5. Shipping, Export, and Import Duties

Meraki Arts operates as an export and domestic manufacturer based in Jodhpur, India.

  • International Orders: You (the buyer) are considered the importer of record. You are solely responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees levied by your destination country. Meraki Arts is not responsible for transit delays caused by customs clearance.

  • Clearance & Access: It is your responsibility to ensure that the ordered furniture will clear all doorways, stairwells, and elevators upon delivery.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to product designs, photography, text, graphics, and logos, is the exclusive property of Meraki Arts and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of our designs or website content without express written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

Meraki Arts, our directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of any of the services or any products procured using the service, including, but not limited to, any errors in content, or any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of the product.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Jodhpur.
